Wenger: Finish Fourth Period Will Make More Vacation So Short

London – Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reiterated the importance of finishing third in the Premier League this season. If a fourth place finish, the players must be ready to cut his vacation period.

Arsenal currently occupy the third position with 70 points from 35 matches, two points ahead of Manchester United in fourth position and have played one more game.

The two teams will meet at Old Trafford on Sunday (05/16/2015) tomorrow, with United aiming for the top three in order to qualify directly for the Champions League while Arsenal try to defend his position.

The top three teams in the final standings of the Premier League will qualify directly for the Champions League group phase. But the team that finished fourth phase must pass through the playoffs – a party of two leg which later scheduled to be held in August.

Results were undoubtedly affect the activity of the players at the break of the season. They had to give up his vacation time so little shorter if only finish fourth this season.

“They have to come back a little faster, maybe a few days, sometimes a week. In particular it means a shorter holiday period for international players,” Wenger said in the London Evening Standard.
