Milan – AC Milan will spend most of the rest of the season without one of the flagship player, Jeremy Menez. Menez was sentenced to four match ban because of insulting the referee.
Menez can not play until the fight was over when Milan defeated Genoa 1-3 at the San Siro on Wednesday (29/04/2015) then. French players had to leave the field in the 72nd minute for receiving a second yellow card.
Rather than accept the referee’s decision and went straight to the locker room, Menez even launched a slur words to the referee after the red card. Not only that, Menez also showed less expression appropriate to the fourth official.
Perbuataannya on it, Menez sentenced to a four-game suspension. One match suspension for his red card, two games for insulting the referee, and one other game because it is not polite to the fourth official.
Thus, Menez will not be able to defend Milan in the match against Napoli (3/5), AS Roma (9/5), Sassuolo (17/5), and Torino (24/5). He was only able to play again in the final game of the season at home to Atalanta (31/5).
Menez is Milan’s top scorer this season. He had packed 16 goals for the Rossoneri in Serie A.
