Rome – Lazio still appear offensive despite losing a number of players from Inter Milan. Biancocelesti coach, Stefano Pioli, called his team has given everything on the pitch.
Host Inter at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday (05/11/2015) pm dawn, Lazio went ahead through Antonio Candreva scored in the eighth minute. However, when the game entered the 24th minute, they lost defender Mauricio who was given a straight red card.

“All matches are determined by the incidents. We had a chance to score more goals. Two red cards make the situation more complicated, but the team has given everything. If we scored through (Miroslav) Klose, the situation could change,” said Pioli told Sky Sport Italia.
Inter made the defeat of Lazio failed to move into second place in Serie A. They remain a point behind AS Roma, who surrendered 1-2 at the hands of AC Milan.
“Of course there is disappointment because this is an important weekend and we could have taken advantage of our rivals slip,” said Pioli.
“We are also disappointed because it had started the match very well. We almost took the lead 2-0, worked very hard, and keep trying until the end,” he added.
“It’s very unfortunate. Inter are a tough team, but with the way my team played, ran, and give everything with nine players, I have to admire them,” said Pioli.
“We will continue to fight and try to achieve our targets. I know I have a very good squad with a superb attitude, combined effort, passion and determination with the quality,” he said.
Lazio also qualified for the final of the Coppa Italia this season. They will challenge Juventus at the top of the party, June 7 next.
