LONDON – Coach Queens Park Rangers (QPR), Harry Redknapp has denied reports stating that the coaching career depended on the outcome of counter Manchester United. The denial was brought ahead of the two teams clashed in Week 22 Premier League on Saturday (01/17/2015) pm.
Occupied by several players with quality that is qualified and experienced, in fact arguably QPR‘s performance is very bad. With big names Rio Ferdinand in defense, the club based in West London it must be glued in precisely the relegation zone ranked 19th in the standings.
Of the 21 games that have been undertaken, QPR only able to achieve five victories and 12 defeats. The condition is also making future Redknapp on Lotus Road Stadium, believed to be increasingly at stake. Hearing these issues, the former Tottenham Hotspur manager also gave his views.
“I have a good relationship with the owners and shareholders, but if they want to take a change of direction then that is their decision. There’s nothing I can do about it, no matter what they do, “said Redknapp, as quoted by Goal, Saturday (01/17/2015).
“They are of no use losing sleep, I spoke with the owner of the club (Tony Fernandes) yesterday and throughout the week. But he did not mention about my coaching career here. I do not see that game (against United) is the point of my step, “he continued.
