Manchester – Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao, admits he is a big fan of former Red Devils striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Van Nistelrooy played for the Red Devils in the range of 2001 to 2006. For five seasons, the Dutch striker was able to pack 150 goals as well as offering English League titles (2002-03), FA Cup (2003-04), League Cup (2005-06 ) and the Community Shield (2003).
Rutje, nickname of Van Nistelrooy, finished his adventure with United at the end of the 2005-06 season and joined Real Madrid.
Equally plays as a central striker, Falcao call Van Nistelrooy has appeal as a star field. That’s what makes it inspired by the style of play Nistelrooy who is currently the assistant coach of the Dutch national team.
“I have always admired Ruud van Nistelrooy in the center forward position. He is a star that appeals to me,” said the 28-year-old told Inside United.
Radamel Falcao joined Manchester United earlier this season on loan until the end of the season from AS Monaco.
So far, the player nicknamed El Tigre it has not been able to bring to bear the best performance because often smothering injury problems. Of the seven appearances so far, he has scored one goal. [Yob]
