MILAN – Former Inter Milan player, Christian Vieri, said that he met with the coach of AC Milan Flippo Inzaghi few days ago. According Vieri, at the meeting, Inzaghi admitted hoping coach Walter Mazzarri still leads Inter Milan, at the Derby della Madonina, at the San Siro, on 23 November.
“A few days ago, I met a colleague at Inter and they told me that 90 percent Mancini will come. I then had dinner with Inzaghi three days ago. He told me,” I just hope there is no change in the coach before the derby, ‘”Vieri said.
Hope Inzaghi did not come true. Mazzarri Inter sacked and replaced by Roberto Mancini on Friday (11/14/2014).
Mazzarri was fired for failing to lift the level of performance of Inter. Of the eleven Serie A matches that have acted, Inter is ranked ninth with a value of 16, or lose 12 points of Juventus, at the top.
Mancini is expected to improve the performance of Inter’s like the first time coached the club in 2004-2008. During that period, Inter won three Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia trophies.
Mancini at Inter’s second debut will be more challenging. Besides being directly facing the derby, as well as Milan are in a better position than Inter. Milan is ranked seventh with 17 points. On the other hand, the challenge will be to make the victory even more meaningful.
