London – Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor, denied that he criticized the fans at White Hart Lane. He just wants the fans present at the stadium to always support the team.
After Tottenham lost 1-2 at home to Stoke City in the Premier League last weekend, Adebayor unegnya issued their emotions. He complained about the attitude of the majority of fans in attendance at White Hart Lane.
In the game Sunday (09/11/2014) and then, some fans moved earlier from his seat. They also expressed disappointment with the players cheering.
Tottenham recently did not get a good result at home. Of the last six home games, the Lilywhites lost four times.
Adebayor was then vent about kekecewaanya on the attitude of the Tottenham supporters who are creating a negative atmosphere at home. The Togo striker might even call his team play better away than at home performing.
But it was denied by Adebayor. Through a statement release, Adebayor stated that he did not intend to criticize the Tottenham supporters.
“I want to clarify some of the reports in the newspaper. I never criticize Tottenham fans. I’m just suggesting that it would be more positive if they support the team,” Adebayor said in a statement as quoted by ESPN FC.
“I love the club the same as all the players in the locker room. We all want to bring this team to win but, like most people, we respond better praise than criticism.”
“We will fix it. Bertahanlan with us and we will thrive,” he added.
